Oh Mallorca! As a child I learned to swim here, as a teenager I fell madly in love (okay, that lasted a few weeks) and as a young mum I am already travelling to this island for the second time with my own little family. An area that holds so many wonderful memories for me is now to write more stories. In the north-east of the island, on the fine sandy Playa de Muro, lies the Hotel TUI BLUE Alcudia Pins. The hotel, which is all-round designed for family holidays on Mallorca, makes time fly by once again.
Woken by the sunrise on Mallorca
Our day here starts with a beautiful sunrise, directly above the sea, which is usually still as smooth as glass in the morning, in front of our balcony. Our spacious room faces directly onto the beach and thus the sunrise. I love being woken up by the morning sun! Neon climbs out of his separate sleeping area and into bed with us, and as we slowly wake up, it’s worth taking a look at the BLUE app.
Here we not only have the option to book our table at one of the restaurants, but also see the full range of entertainment options spread throughout the holiday. From baby swimming and archery to live music in the evenings and extras that can be booked, we find all the information here.
Children’s eyes light up at the TUI BLUE Alcudia Pins
Registration for the Kids Club is also contactless via the BLUE app. The registration for the professional childcare has to be done daily – this guarantees that especially now at pandemic times not too many children are looked after in one group. The kids are welcomed to the Kids Club with a friendly grin and a “hello” in several languages. In keeping with the times, taking their temperature and washing their hands are part of the welcome.
The varied and age-appropriate programme is not only well received by our son. We discover many shining children’s eyes, which also continue to shine on the water slide, the playground and at the (dessert) buffet.
Spanish tapas in the “Taverna” of the TUI BLUE Alcudia Pins
Speaking of food: Just like the entertainment programme, the evening buffet is also varied. On one evening, there was even a very special entertainment in the buffet restaurant “Green & Grill”: We were visited by a whole peacock family enjoying the evening sun together in the dunes in front of the restaurant.
Our culinary highlight remains the 3-course menu in the “Taverna”, despite delicious favourite dishes from the buffet. One dinner during the stay is included in this restaurant – which should definitely be taken advantage of. A table full of local starters awaits us here. The tapas not only taste fantastic, but are also lovingly prepared. Accompanied by a red wine and a view of Playa de Muro: Muy bien!
If you are looking for an uncomplicated family holiday in the popular and timelessly beautiful bay of Alcudia, the TUI BLUE Alcudia Pins is a hotel that meets all expectations of the classic and popular Majorca holiday. Find out more about our trip to TUI BLUE Alcudia Pins on the Uberding website.

Hi did you stay in the superior room with sea view ? This what I have booked but can’t find the layout of the rooms as such .
Thanks for the blog just what I needed to read
I sent you the layout by email.
Thank you for this post. Looking to book this in the next few days for end of may but still had some questions.
Is there a high street nearby? Are there many restaurants to choose from? What were the crowds like? Were the rooms and bathrooms clean? Was there a bathtub?
We are bringing an almost 2 year old.
Thank you x
the family rooms have a tub. There are 4 à-la-carte restaurants and 1 buffet restaurant. The town of Alcudia is 4 km away, there is a bus stop just in front of the hotel. Most of the guests are families from UK and Scandinavian countries.
Hope this helps you with the decision!
