What makes a holiday really special? It is the unforgettable blue and turquoise tones of the water and the sky. Infinity pools are the best way to soak up this colour spectacle. So treat yourself to a hotel with an infinity pool, it’s worth it. I present to you the 12 best hotels with infinity pools, some of which even have private infinity pools. What is considered an infinity pool?
An infinity pool is a swimming pool with a very long, continuous edge. This edge can be straight or curved and the water may flow over it in one direction only (as in the case of a waterfall), or both ways (as in the case where the water flows over the edge at different speeds). The wall creates the illusion that the edge of the pool merges with the blue of the water or sky. The name “infinite” comes from the fact that there are no visible boundaries to the pool.
The most famous example of this type of pool is the infinity pool at the Bellagio Hotel on Las Vegas’s famed Strip.

Greece seems to be the Eldorado for hotels with infinity pools! I would also like to introduce you to two on Zakynthos. The TUI BLUE Caravel is a 5-star adults-only hotel with all-inclusive catering. The all-new modern-style hotel is blessed with multiple infinity pools that match that irrisistible Greek island colour scheme.

First and foremost are the swim-up rooms, which have infinity pools with breathtaking views of the sea. The colours alone are incredibly beautiful. Not to mention that the hotel has a spa, a sophisticated fitness programme and edutainment offerings (e.g. wine tastings) to offer.

The second hotel with an infinity pool on Zakynthos, is also a 5-star hotel for adults: the TUI BLUE Zante Maris. It is one of the most luxurious hotels on this list. The stylish interior tempts you to just lie down and enjoy life. But the best place to do that is by the beachfront infinity pool.

My tip: Treat yourself to a room with a swim-up pool. TUI BLUE Zante Maris also offers a wide range of all-inclusive meals, a spa and a large sports and entertainment programme.
Hotel with infinity pool in Spain: TUI BLUE Zahara Beach

Spain cannot be missing from the list of hotels with infinity pools. The TUI BLUE Zahara Beach is located directly on the wide sandy beach on the Costa de la Luz between Cadiz and Gibraltar. It boasts a rooftop infinity pool. It gets really romantic up here at the latest at sunset. By the way, the TUI BLUE Zahara Beach is an adults-only hotel, so it’s great for a holiday for two. Here, too, you can expect a sports programme, entertainment and edutainment, e.g. culinary courses. Surprise your sweetheart and book the double room with swim-up pool.
