New TUI BLUE hotel in China in 2025

The TUI BLUE Guilin Watermark Promenade in China will open in February 2025. The TUI BLUE Yangshuo Xiangheli will be the second hotel in the breathtaking landscape of Guilin. The hotel grounds and even the pool overlook the rocky landscape for which Guilin is so famous. The rooms are housed in villas and exude a simple elegance with natural materials and muted colours. Unlike the other TUI BLUE hotels, this one is for everyone. Families, couples, groups of friends, wedding parties… The restaurant serves authentic Chinese food.
First TUI BLUE hotel in The Gambia 2025
Well, admit it: some of you will have to look up where The Gambia actually is! It’s no shame, because this small country in West Africa is still an insider tip. TUIfly/TUI Airways will take you from the UK, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands to the country, which is completely surrounded by Senegal, by direct flight in about 6 hours.

The first TUI BLUE hotel in Gambia will be the TUI BLUE Tamala. Currently under renovation, it will open in November 2025 as a 4-star TUI BLUE hotel with 140 rooms. After splashing around on the palm-fringed Atlantic beach or in your swim-up pool, treat yourself to relaxation in one of the two restaurants or the spa.
A second TUI BLUE hotel in the Gambia is planned for 2026. Stay tuned!
Third TUI BLUE Hotel in Vietnam: TUI BLUE Han River
The brand-new TUI BLUE Han River in Danang will be the third TUI BLUE hotel in Vietnam, following TUI BLUE Tuy Hoa and TUI BLUE Nha Trang. This 5-star hotel will be situated on the Han River, offering spectacular city views from its rooftop bar. With 3 meeting rooms and a gym & spa, it’s also an excellent choice as a business hotel. Opening from summer 2025. As the hotel is under construction, photos aren’t available yet.
Fourth TUI BLUE Hotel in Vietnam: TUI BLUE Tam Coc
With the addition of TUI BLUE Tam Coc in northern Vietnam, it’s almost possible to plan a round trip through Vietnam entirely with TUI BLUE hotels! The new build will be located in Tam Coc, near Ninh Binh, in the region known as the “dry Halong Bay”: this area is one of Vietnam’s top tourist attractions. The hotel will feature 128 rooms, one restaurant, event spaces, as well as a pool, spa, and fitness centre. The opening is scheduled for summer 2025.
Fifth TUI BLUE Hotel in Vietnam: TUI BLUE Van Phong Bay
Another hotel in Vietnam will open in May as TUI BLUE Van Phong Bay. Previously known as TTC Resort Van Phong Bay, it will be adapted to meet TUI BLUE standards. From the infinity pool, you can enjoy a stunning view of the Van Phong Bay, located between Nha Trang and Tuy Hoa. The rooms and suites, starting at 44 m², are spread across multi-storey buildings and villas, some with private pools. The large hotel complex with several pools is right on the sandy beach – said to be one of the 20 most beautiful beaches in the world! The restaurants offer a delightful mix of Vietnamese and international cuisine in a stylish setting. Dreaming of a beach wedding? The 5-star hotel has several large halls where you can celebrate your dream wedding in grand style! If relaxing at the spa isn’t exciting enough for you, rent a bike, learn to surf, or take part in one of the many courses offered through the BLUEf!t programme. The opening is scheduled for May 2025.
New adults-only hotel in the Canary Islands: TUI BLUE Atlantic Hills
Too exotic? Looking for something more familiar? The TUI BLUE Atlantic Hills on the Canary Island of Tenerife might be perfect for you. Year-round warmth, just a few hours’ flight from Europe, plus delicious Spanish tapas – that’s why we love the Canary Islands. The adults-only TUI BLUE Atlantic Hills in the green north of the island has successfully balanced traditional and modern styles.

A former English country house once stood here, and the spirit of the past is evident in many elements, such as brown leather upholstery and stone walls that perfectly complement the modern bright style. The hotel grounds are impeccably maintained, featuring multiple pools and whirlpools and even an infinity pool overlooking Puerto de la Cruz! Rare Canarian dragon trees grow on the hotel grounds. The 3 restaurants offer everything from Canarian wrinkled potatoes to international classics. Choose between breakfast and half-board. This 4.5-star adults-only hotel opens in May 2025.
New TUI BLUE hotel in Egypt: TUI BLUE Samaya

And finally, a fantastic winter destination: The 5-star TUI BLUE Samaya in Marsa Alam. Southern Egypt is slightly warmer than Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh, making it my top choice for a Red Sea holiday during the cold season. The coral reefs here are more pristine, and you can start snorkelling directly from the hotel’s private pier to marvel at the colourful underwater world! The sandy beach is exceptionally beautiful. TUI BLUE Samaya is particularly suitable for families, thanks to its aqua park, kids’ club, all-inclusive options, and short transfer from Marsa Alam airport. Guests can also use the wellness area of the neighbouring hotel. Opening May 1st, 2025!
Which new TUI BLUE hotel piques your interest?
I would be particularly interested in the hotels in The Gambia because I’ve never been to this part of the world and have no idea what it’s like. Which one would you most like to try out? Write it in the comments!

Would love to try out the new hotel in Gambia, but as an LGBT couple, i’d be a bit worried. Samaya looks great too! Big fan of Egypt and thankfully never had any issues there as a couple.
Hi Ian,
Unfortunately, homosexuality is a criminal offence in The Gambia. It’s best to find out from the relevant sources what travelling for LGBT people in The Gambia is like. However, I can say that all people are welcome in our hotels worldwide. I’m glad that you didn’t have any problems in Egypt, although the country is also quite traditional. I have never been to The Gambia myself, but what I have read so far is that the people are very friendly to visitors.
Hope to welcome you as our guests in one of our hotels!
Miri
