At the TUI BLUE Palazzo del Mare on the Greek island of Kos, good food, a swim-up pool<\/strong> and lots of sea await you! I myself worked at the TUI BLUE Palazzo del Mare<\/a> last year and would like to give you a little tour of the hotel here and reveal one or two tips in advance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where is the TUI BLUE Palazzo del Mare located?  <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Palazzo del Mare is located in the northwest of the island of Kos<\/strong> in Marmari and impresses with an over 160 metre long pool<\/strong> and direct access to the beach.<\/strong> The hotel offers the perfect balance for sports enthusiasts and relaxation lovers and is adults only<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welcome or Kalimera as they say, when you enter the hotel lobby and reception does everything to give you a pleasant start. Because now your holiday begins! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Right next to reception, someone in a blue uniform is already smiling at you. Because one of our BLUE Guides<\/strong> is sitting there, whom you can contact if there are any difficulties or especially if you want to go on a trip<\/strong>. Whether you want to learn more about the most beautiful places on Kos<\/strong>, or take a boat tour to the surrounding islands, explore the island on your own in a jeep<\/a> or drive over to Turkey for a day. The guides have the perfect excursion for everyone. My tip is definitely to visit Kos Town<\/a> and stroll through the narrow alleyways of the port town. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food at the TUI BLUE Palazzo del Mare: Greek and much more <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Especially after a long journey you are probably quite hungry<\/strong>? Then it’s good that the way from reception to the main restaurant<\/strong> is not far. The hotel offers a varied buffet in the restaurant in the mornings and evenings<\/strong>. From regional specialities to international dishes, everything is there. There are changing theme evenings such as the Gala Dinner, Sunset Dinner, Seafood Dinner or Local Dinner.<\/strong> On these evenings, cooking is tailored to the theme and at the Local Dinner, for example, you can look forward to typical Greek specialities. My favourite there is of course gyros with tzatziki!  The hotel focuses on using fruit and vegetables from its own cultivation.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another restaurant is located below the large pool on the way to the sea. At Culinarium<\/strong> you can treat yourself to culinary delights at lunchtime and enjoy an \u00e0 la carte menu<\/strong> in the evening. <\/strong>This will be a highlight of your holiday as you will get to know the local specialities in a very special way.  <\/p>\n\n\n

How about a cocktail at the bar? You have two options right away. Either go straight from the main restaurant down the hall and you will end up at the main bar<\/strong>. Here you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and later in the evening fascinating shows. Usually it is external artists who come from the island to share their passion with you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But if you’ve just wandered along the pool, then I recommend the pool bar<\/strong>. I like to drink a Greek frappe or a new creation by the bartender there. How about an ouzo cocktail<\/strong>, for example? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If that’s still not enough cooling off for you, just jump in the pool! I’ve never seen such a large pool where you can swim a few laps!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You also have the opportunity to always have the pool within reach in a swim-up room<\/strong>, or if you’d rather have a pool to yourself, a private pool<\/strong>, that’s of course possible. You can even book a room with a whirlpool<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe you also feel like a game of beach volleyball<\/strong> on the beach right in front of the hotel? All in all, the hotel offers a varied sports programme. There is something for everyone! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
