If you can’t stay on the beach, I recommend visiting the most beautiful beaches in Zanzibar<\/a> and forgetting the cold winter while snorkelling in the warm water. January, February and March are the dry season and therefore a popular time for a visit. December to April is also the best time for snorkellers and divers because of the crystal clear, calm sea. Pack a jumper or a light jacket because it can get really chilly in the evenings.
