Without a doubt, the coastal city of Marmaris is one of the pearls of the Turkish Aegean. Nature, culture and history, and modern city life uniquely combine to form a holiday resort. This attracts about ten times as many tourists as locals to the city every year. Nevertheless, Marmaris has managed to preserve its incomparable character. Once there, I tried to absorb as much of the city as possible and to get to know the wide diversity of the place.
